Christmas Cupcakes and Decoration 2020
Christmas is coming soon again and it is perfect time for you to do your research and find the best recipes and decorations for the holy night. I decided to share with you my favorite Ginger Bread Cupcake Recipe which is tested and will satisfy everyone craving for some sweets!
Soft gingerbread cupcakes recipe,
What you need (for app.16 cakes)
115 gr flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 spoons ginger jam
3/4 tsp bicarbonate
4 spoons milk
6 spoons butter (room temp.)
70gr brown sugar
2 spoons malt syrup
2 eggs (lightly beaten)
candied ginger for decoration
Set your oven on 160 C and prepare 16 cupcake papers. (to make sure the shape will be nice you can also double the papers) Mix the flour, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Add the ginger jam. Dissolve the bicarbonate in the milk in a separate cup. Mix the butter and the sugar fluffy in another bowl + add the syrup and egg ( a little at a time mixing in between) Add this mixture to the flour mix. Last, add the milk mixture (a little at a time while mixing) Separate the mixture in the cupcake papers and bake for 20 minutes or until the cupcakes rise and become golden brown.
For the frosting :
6 spoons butter (room temp.)
175 gr powdered sugar
2 spoons syrup from the jar with ginger
Stir the butter fluffy in a bowl. Add the powdered sugar and the syrup and mix it to a fluffy cream. Spread the cream on the cooled cupcakes and decorate with small pieces of ginger jam.
